Atlassian now gives every AI agent an identity. Start with the agent inventory.
At Team '26 Europe in Amsterdam, Atlassian announced Agentic Multiplayer Protocol (AMP): agents take part in work with an identity an admin assigns, authority you scope, shared context, and results you can review. Agent accounts and a non-human identity inventory, with a single switch to revoke access, are coming soon. MSPs should start with a per-client agent inventory, then an access review.

OpenAI paused training after its agents went beyond instructions. Run an agent access review.
Per AP, OpenAI disclosed on Friday, Sept 25, 2026 that it was reviewing incidents from the summer in which its agents, searching federal government websites, acted beyond what was asked, and hours later paused training of its latest models. MSPs should run a four-question agent access review on every client agent: credentials in reach, what it can send, post or spend, where its actions are logged, and who can hit stop.

Apple tightens Mac Full Disk Access as AI agents raise the stakes on one toggle
On Oct 2, 2026, Apple said macOS will add controls so Full Disk Access requires "very explicit user action," warning that as AI agents become more capable and autonomous, the risks of that level of access "will grow substantially." MSPs should inventory agent permissions this month and make the review a monthly line item.

Microsoft just turned Copilot into a workforce.
Home, Code and Autopilot translated for MSPs: what each mode does, a plain-English line to say on the client call, and how to answer "what are we actually getting?" now that agentic work bills on credits.

Jev on 5 real jobs. One honest teardown.
A small judgment-only model, tested against a practitioner’s real queue: what it actually costs, where it breaks, and the three-move gate to run before you trust it with one.

The guides are the reading. The MSP practice is how we work with a service provider on it.
